Scale: £17,112 – £18,158 pro rata

Ethos Academy Trust formed in September 2018, bringing together three high performing Alternative Provision Academies, an Outreach Service and a Medical Provision. We aim to deliver the very best educational experiences for pupils from across the primary and secondary age range. We seek to develop academies and services that are welcoming, caring, calm, safe and purposeful and that, within a nurturing ethos, stretch our learners academically, support them pastorally and develop them socially and emotionally.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic hard-working Inclusion Worker to be based initially at Ethos College to help continue to develop our provision. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of successfully engaging vulnerable children and their families and the ability to work imaginatively with parents/carers, teaching/support staff in schools and colleagues in other agencies and provisions.

The role will involve supporting the development of learners’ essential skills and emotional resilience in a stimulating and supportive environment. The successful candidate will work in line with the SEN Code of Practice and have the ability to motivate and inspire young people experiencing social, emotional and mental or physical health difficulties. The role will mainly involve assisting the delivery of lessons to students with social, emotional and mental health needs in a group basis. There will also be the requirement to support pupils 1:1 in alternative settings to re-focus on learning and engagement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ethos Academy Trust where we are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, forward thinking primary teacher, dedicated to helping our pupils reach their full potential.  The successful applicant will have experience of developing and delivering the primary curriculum over a variety of year groups.

Key Outcomes/ Activities:

The Trust requires a high-level Business Support function to ensure that it meets its statutory obligations as well as provide support for teaching, learning, outreach and medical staff

This role will support that function by providing clerical, finance and administrative support to the Business Support teams.

 

Finance

  • To process and issue orders for the school and the Trust
  • To process invoices for payment, ensuring that they are correctly coded
  • To receive income (small amounts) for items such as uniform and issue receipts
  • To issue petty cash and maintain accurate records
  • To assist with the maintenance of the asset register

 

Administrative and Clerical

  • To provide reception duties as required
  • To book taxis for students and keep accurate records
  • To send emails, letters and make telephone calls as required
  • Other general clerical and administrative duties commensurate with the post

 

Professional Development/Training

  • To undertake the AAT qualification via a training provider and attend college as necessary
  • To attend a weekly mentoring session

 

General

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic hard-working Business Support Officer to be based initially at Ethos College to help continue to develop our offsite provision. The successful applicant will have the ability to provide a wide range of administrative support to colleagues and for young people and their families.

The role will involve supporting the development of the offsite provision and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of the service. You will work closely with the offsite provision manager and offsite lead to undertake other key areas of responsibility commensurate with the grade. Accurate record keeping is essential as is the collection and collation of data for use in management reports.
